We shipped a belt sander to Illinois two weeks ago, and yesterday it landed on a customer’s loading dock.
He runs a small fabrication shop outside Chicago. Sent us a few photos of the unboxing – no fancy lighting, just grease on his gloves and the machine sitting next to a pile of steel offcuts. His first words: “This thing doesn’t feel like a toy.”
He ran it for an hour on some 80-grit belts, grinding down welds on ¼-inch plate. No belt drift, no weird vibrations. Said the tracking adjustment actually works the way it should.
We’re not posting this to brag. Just happy to see a tool we built hold up in a real American shop, on a real Tuesday morning.
